TEST a Torsion

Try a TORSION treeless saddle on your own horse

How does the testing work? We will send you a saddle to try for a weekend. We normally send out a Torsion saddle in 16" (dress size 10 to 12) or 17" (dress size 14 to 16) seat size. It will come complete with an Equitex Pad and one or two lengths of girth. For your own safety we recommend you use the safety buckles (Barnes Buckles) provided. You can use your own stirrup leathers but you must make sure you use safety stirrups.

Please use the products with care so other people can try them after you. The saddle will be sent to you by our couriers (normally on a Thursday or Friday during the day & picked up again on the following Monday).

We organise all packaging, delivery and collection for you.

Please ensure that when you finished with the saddle it is in a state that you would be happy to accept it (i.e. clean, dry, free of hair and mud).

To book you into the test schedule, we need this form and either Credit Card details by telephone on 08450 725 765 or 2 cheques sent to the above address. After we have received your form, we will call you to inform you about your test dates.

Amount 1: Loan of 1 saddle (incl. delivery and collection) £ 45
Amount 2: Deposit Cheque for the saddle, which will be returned or can be used towards the purchase of any TORSION products. Period of testing: The saddle can be kept for three days, if no other arrangements have been made.

If the saddle has not been returned after 10 days, this amount will be debited.

HIRE AGREEMENT

This hire agreement is between Torsion UK, Unit 2 Murdock Road, Bicester, Oxon OX26 4PL

  1. Saddle and Accessories supplied for hire are either used items in good condition or new items. Accepting reasonable wear & tear they should all be returned in the same condition in which they arrived at your premises. All items should be dry and clean, free of any hair or dirt before returning. Pads can be machine washed at 40º (a slow spinning setting only) if very dirty. If any of the items are not returned in the condition they were received, a £25 cleaning charge will be made to your credit card.
  2. Please note that the cost of the hire is NOT refundable
  3. No insurance, warranty or guarantee is included. Riding is a dangerous activity. Torsion UK or any of the employees of Torsion UK accept no liability should any of our products be included in any accidents or any cases of either horse or rider or any third party being damaged or injured.
  4. The hire period can be extended at an extra fee of £10/day for a maximum of 2 weeks total.
  5. It is the users responsibility to ensure all items are suitable and appropriate for their horse. Torsion UK accepts no liability or responsibility for the appropriateness or fit of the saddle to a particular horse.
  6. The term of the hire agreement is indicated below. It is the users responsibility to ensure all items are returned to Torsion UK by the date due. If for any reason the items are returned late, any additional week or part thereof will be charged at £50 plus a one-off £5 administration fee.
  7. If the saddle and accessories are not returned within two weeks after the hire agreement, the user will be charged the full value of the saddle & accessories as indicated below - unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  8. Any loss or damage (accepting normal wear & tear) is the responsibility of the user. The user will be charged for repairs.
  9. If the saddle and accessories are lost or any parts of the provided packaging are missing, the user will be charged the full value. When returning the saddle & accessories it is strongly recommended to inform our offices that the goods are on their way.

I agree with the above conditions and enclose two payments for a total of £445. In case of the test of 2 saddles, please enclose one payment for £75 and one for £800.
